The Plant Discovery class is about creating and maintaining a Materia Medica, Herbarium, and a Plant Press. This is designed for schools and homeschoolers. Each class will build upon previous class. There are home research assignment and presentations for this class. Best for ages 8 and up. Journals are design as fill in workbooks.
Like the Plant Discovery Class/Walk, it is open to the public, schools, and homeschoolers. This class is designed for the younger audience 5 to 7 but can accommodate older children. This class allows parents to learn different outdoor skills and games to participate in with their kids.
This class will be hands-on learning how-to skills using natural resources for edible, medicinal, and utilitarian uses. Designed for ages 7 and up. You will discover the process of ethical harvesting, preparing, and using wild resourses to make crafts and create wild edibles as you learn about the plants being used.
Learn about common medicinal and edible weeds. Learn how to transplant, while making a simple and easily maintained garden. Learn about soil, light, PH, and other critical information. This class is designed for child-parent participation and regular attendance.
